Morning report card! Plant performance B, bale truck performance B, seed truck performance A, forklift operators performance A, sleep A+! Thanks I needed that!

We are still without our fuel pump station! The part was flown in from Illinois and the repairman drove out from Odessa and installed it and pfzzzzzz. The new piece was faulty! Now they are sending an upgraded circuit board with micro-chip and with upgraded software! I am hoping that they got it ordered early enough yesterday for them to get it on an over night service! This is getting old. We are getting to be good fuel managers. One happening yesterday brought a grim reality to the situation. One of the press hands at the small plant got his hand in one of the bale wires as the press ram released. It crushed the last digit of one finger and lacerated (or burst) the finger next to that one. There was bone sticking out and everything! Yuk! When they got him to the office the GM had to borrow a supervisor's truck to take the employee to the emergency room.

Krl and I are trying to make our plans for Christmas. In Abilene, we have no tree, no decorations, no plans. In St. Lawrence we have a tree, decorations and no plans. Either place we have no gifts! Oh well! It might just be nice to have nothing to do and no-where to go! Either the hound boys and girls are getting acclimated to here or we have worn them down and imposed our will on them!
