Today has gone on forever! Nine-thirty this morning and I was so bored! I had done such a good job of doing my weekend work that I did Monday's work too!

I only had one truck that didn't do what his instructions were. Of course this is the third time he has not followed instructions. If I allow him a maintenance Sunday off, I may not allow him to go home and if I do allow him to go home, if he misses his appointment time there will be no need of him coming back. We do scheduling to make it easier on everyone but if one person drops the ball, it snowballs for the remaining crew. On top of this the fact remains that this employee is three loads behind for the week, and if he were to approach me about an advance on his pay I would probably have to deny it. This man's work is not a priority!

We have been awed by nature today. The day started off pretty warm, just a sweatshirt was on the verge of over kill. Then the skies turned blue and dark and Mother Nature turned loose her magnificent fury! Winds over sixty miles per hour, rain that went sideways! Sand! Tumbleweeds! Then brilliant sunshine with gentle winds that have built once again to gale force!

FATHER, YOUR universe is magnificent! The power, the extremes, the calm after the storm, all evidence of YOUR power, YOUR grace, YOUR love for us all. Heal those needing YOUR healing. Fill those with needs. All things are possible through YOU, and for this I am grateful!
