I have been without my computer for almost a week. I got it back yesterday and guess what. It still isn't fixed! I am pissed off! The jerk at the computer shop told me it was fixed and ready to go. Liar!
If you are in Abilene and going to take your computer to a shop, check with me and I will make sure you don't get messed over.
One crazy side line of my computer travails is that Facebook has suspended my account for some reason, pending my jumping through hoops. Crazier thing is my computer won't allow me to jump! Heh!
I talked with Jeanetta yesterday. She celebrated another birthday! I think she has at least two to every one I have! Happy Birthday Jeanetta!
Also I have been told I missed Janice K.'s birthday on facebook, so happy birthday Janice!
Lots on my plate. Truck in shop. Forklift issue. Pickup in Sweetwater. Rian coming in to Roscoe.
I put the truck in the shop yesterday to have the engine harness installed. We have had an ongoing dialogue at the dealership for the last week! Turns out they were wrong. They ordered the harness and I carried it for a week, but it turned out they failed to order two smaller jumper harnesses. That didn't make me very happy! Not only does it mean more money, it also means another day in the shop. I think these guys fail to see that not only is it an expense to be in their shop, it is also a stoppage on any revenue.
The forklift at Coyonosa is having an issue again. Losing oil out the weep hole on the first stage cylinder. I talked with Jason yesterday and I told him I would like to bring the ram in and order one of the really good seals from my hydraulic man. Thing is it is a two day deal. AND it would involve 986 miles, start to finish!
I was driving Krl's Expedition yesterday and was only a few blocks from my house when I heard a strange noise and lost power steering. Closer inspection of the instrument panel revealed the alternator discharging too. The serpentine belt had shredded or come off. I continued home before stopping to check out the issue. I let the engine cool down for a period of time before deciding it was time to do or die. Worst part was all my tools were in my pickup in Sweetwater. So I made a b-line for a small tire shop that does repairs. Turned out the belt tensioner was going out, so an hour later I was on my way again with a new belt and tensioner and considerably lighter in my pocket book!
I am supposed to meet some men today that want to buy my cotton strippers.
And I have a man wanting me to put a price on the truck that I was planning on salvaging at Colorado City! If I could do one or both of those, things could definitely be looking up.
Cross your fingers!
Have a day!
FATHER, I could sure use a little pick me up!
