I will say this. The meds I now have can make me feel as badly as my cold or flu. The antibiotic is atrocious although apparently effective. With the steroid cluster it will get your attention and make you wonder if your are going to throw up or do your britches!

I am constantly amazed at how they can make our bodies do so many things with a simple medication.

My biggest complaint right now is the cough and fever.

How 'bout those Cowboys? I just do not understand. I am not a Romo fan. I think he is a flash in the pan that has already fizzled. There are too many other good qb's out there. But it is more far reaching than a single position. I think it may be about heart! I sure feel sorry for Wade Phillips.

I was very disappointed in NASCAR yesterday. Add Denny Hamlin to that Romo list. Behavior earlier this year took him off my list. I hated to see him win at Texas Motorspeedway and hated even more that he took the points lead.

About the only thing I enjoyed yesterday was when Jeff Burton put Jeff Gordon into the wall while under caution and Gordon showed a little fire when he walked down the track to have a conversation with Burton. That will probably cost both of them some $$$$$.

As much as I hate to admit it, I guess I am pulling for Kevin Harvick to win the Sprint Cup Championship.

I have already been on the phone with the truck shop this morning (at 7) and I am killing time to give them time to do the diagnostics on it. Cross your fingers for me for it to be a small, trivial, cheap repair.

We are down one truck at the seasonal jobsite, but we have a coast day today! It will probably begin getting serious about tomorrow afternoon.

Rain in the forecast for the end of the week. Bad for the harvest, good for next year's crops.

Windy again today! Drat!
