Rain blessing again!

I was back in the parts store yesterday and today. Originally Sylvia had wanted off a couple of days as her daughter from North Carolina was coming in. The she decided to only take one day off. Needless to say, with the wet weather it was a relatively slow day at the parts store.

We learned that Donald Johnson, a man who had helped Chris set up the hardware section of the store, was found dead this morning at his home. This is a difficult thing to accept and realize. He was usually in and out of the store some time during the week. He had been ill for four or five days and a friend took him some food yesterday afternoon and spent three hours with him. This morning the friend called to check on him and there was no answer. After the drive to Donald's lake place, they discovered him on his couch, as if he was sleeping. But he was gone.

Donald Johnson, RHS class of 1972, rest in peace.

The Abilene area is now over nine inches above its normal rainfall.

Tomorrow, Dr. Mackie. New 'scripts, hopefully a sleep study, and onward and upward.

Have a day.

FATHER thank YOU for Donald, for his friendship. Bless his family and friends. Surround them with YOUR angels. We lift them up for YOUR gifts of comfort and care. We continue to lift Rebecca for your miracle of healing. Bless us Oh LORD, and expand our boundaries!
