Happy 81st Birthday to Pepa. He is five away from Grandpa's age.

He is spending a portion of his day at the knee doctor in Abilene. Last Thursday when he went down on their patio, he told Pat and I he did not want to go and have his knee x-rayed. Since then, almost on a daily basis he has morphed his story to where now there are bone fragments floating in his leg.

Hopefully they will take the films, give him some injections in the joint and he will experience some relief.

In a radical change from the norm, Memama did not go with Pat and Pepa. She elected to go get her hair cut. (At Pat's encouragement).

A new crossroad will be Sunday. Memama has an appointment Monday morning with Dr. Bowman, the doctor who did her cornea transplants. Pat asked her if she wanted to leave Sunday afternoon or about 4 Monday morning. Memama told Pat, "We can't leave him by himself!" (talking about Pepa).

I suggested they leave Sunday lunch on the table and he can graze until they return.

Memama's big concern is that Pepa will get down.

Pat is hopeful all that will be addressed before Sunday. Jason is installing hand rails and pull bars. Thanks Jason.

Me, I carry a big hat pin!

I talked with Rian earlier today. last week Reid had been sick and Monday Tuesday morning Holt was running fever. Now Drew and Erica have joined in, so Rian went to school and then back home to see if he can help out. (Or catch what they have).

Have a day!

FATHER bless Pepa on his birthday.
