The word Sunday afternoon on Pepa was much better than it had been. We will see if it held true through the night.

I am scheduled for Anson today, helping my bud K.O.. We talked last evening and he told me I needed to be there around eight. He also told me they are going twenty-four tonight. That is so strange because just Friday I was told that it was just a rumor and the manager had told them to disregard it.

It seems that some of the board members decided to over-ride the manager. Enough to make a majority decision. I suppose this is something all gin mangers deal with. They make the best decisions possible with the information on hand, yet someone is always backseat driving.

To tell you the truth, I side with the manager, and we never agree on anything.

I think the board is wanting to make the last two or three weeks into a week or ten days. Crazy thing was, the cotton ginned Friday was picked up Sunday. That isn't too bad.

I have a starter to put back on one of the forklifts today. At least I will have a project if I have to wait for a load of bales.

I am trying to cypher some things for the coming year. I wish I had a crystal ball.

Lots of data to go through.

My weekend has been off kilter. I usually do driver settlements, but the on-line site that does the fuel card reporting was doing an upgrade, and it was last evening before they came back on line. Due to the MLK holiday, I am utilizing the extra day since mail won't run anyway.

Now I am behind the eight ball.

Here is hoping you have a good day and a great week.

FATHER, instill in me the assurance that you are in control, and all is well.
