Indian summer! I can't believe this weather for January! I am hoping it will hold for another week. My biggest fear has been the January and February weather, should we still be working out here. Over the last few years it seems like January and February are the worst months for driving conditions. If we can dodge this bullet it will be a big plus!

What a waste. Forty million dollars for a second time inauguration. He says it is a signal of solidarity. I believe it is a signal, but what it signals is about the man, not the country. I still cannot believe the poor choice of candidates we had.

I happened to hear a portion of the hoopla leading up to the ceremony and it was mentioned that the first incumbent President to ever campaign was Teddy Roosevelt. Prior to that it was thought that any incumbent who campaigned was not worthy to hold the office of President.

Eight hundred thirty-two modules and decreasing. We are forging on. Once again we find that we are working ourselves out of a job! It is the nature of the beast. While our season has been long, many of the other cotton gins are looking at ginning until April and I have even heard of one gin that will gin until May.

I am thankful for the work, for the opportunity. FATHER, I am thankful for the good reports from the injured Highland group. I continue to ask YOUR blessings and comfort for them and their families. I continue to ask that YOU comfort Brody's family. I pray for the others that need YOUR healing. I pray for those needing spiritual renewal. Surround us, fill us.
