CHRISTMAS EVE gift!

Not that my Dad does the computer thingy but maybe mom can document the day and time for him!

I awoke early early early this morning. I had had an uneasy night and finally had moved to the couch. I believe I slept in fifteen minute splotches. Finally about six fifteen I slipped my shoes on and exited my trailer. One of the other contractors had asked me to distribute his payroll, but not until this morning. He had told me if I gave the checks out early the tail-lights I saw ahead of me would be his employees leaving early! Anyway, we all made it through the night. I handed out his checks and went inside the plant. Everyone was in a jovial mood as we were just a short period of time from shutting down for Christmas. There are about three stoves in the plant and small groups were huddled around each one as the workers had opportunity to get a quick warming! I left the press console after I picked up the bale dock load sheet and I made my way to the master console to get the seed receipt book. When I entered the gin from one end the plant superintendent had entered from the other. I believe we were both pleasantly surprised that things had gone as well as they had. Only minor personnel adjustments had to be made to keep the plant up and going. I exited the building and made a quick trek for one last look at the seed hoppers and then I returned to my trailer, in the mean time the plant had shut down and it had become very quiet in the wee hours of this Christmas Eve morn. Silent Night!

We are looking forward to the time off. Krl and I will probably make the trek to Midland today to do just a little stuff, Mainly eat out and watch the other people. Abuello's is closed so we won't do that deal. It may be time to break new ground in Midland!

Krl and I took time yesterday to deliver Christmas gifts to the girls in the office, the plant super, the GM, and the boys in the supply store. It was fun! The one gift that was most fun was for Becky and Kristy. We have been saying all season long that when it is over we are going to have a magarita buffet! Krl picked up all the components for making the "top shelf" magaritas like Abuello's. The neat part was we loaded all of this, glasses included, into a first aid kit! It was a hoot!

May your holiday season be blessed!

FATHER thank YOU for all the blessings YOU give us. I pray for safety for all the travelers. Be with my family, my workers, my acquaintances that are on the road. I pray for safety for their return as well. I continue to lift up those who need YOUR healing. Bless and comfort them all. Be with those looking for answers, lead them to YOU. Thank YOU for Jesus.
