It was another beautiful day until just before the end of the work day. West Texas weather came front and center. Rain. You could see the disappointment in everyone's eyes as they wilted just a shade. We'll get our head screwed on straight and start mental preparation again.

We were going to run yesterday but we had a power inverter go bad just as we brought the plant on-line. This is the fifth one this year and we have only done three hundred nine bales of cotton on our way to about eighty thousand. These little boogers cost twenty-eight hundred dollars each, so the plant has an expensive appetite. Electricians are coming in this morning to check for a possible problem. During the off season the plant changed from its long time electric service provider to an alternate. In ten years since the plant was built it was powered by the old service provider and we never lost an inverter. There has been some speculation that there is a electrical structural configuration difference with the new provider. We will know later this morning.

Needless to say the prospects of a profitable week went out the window with yesterdays rain. We will regroup and refocus. We are thankful for the work opportunity and take comfort in knowing that it will all take place in GOD's time.

Patience and tolerance. Teach us FATHER. Help us to keep our eye on the goal. Thank YOU for YOUR love and concern for us. Help us to accept YOUR plan. I pray for Rene', Carol, Michelle and Aimee. I pray for R2D2. I pray for the hurricane victims. I pray for those of our spiritual family who have needs. YOU are supreme.
