What a day what a day! We went to Lubbock for Reidman's first birthday celebration. We rolled out from the house about nine fifty. Headed for Lenscrafters to have Krl's spectacles repaired, they were backed up already, or they had two left over from last evening! Finally we just hit the road throwing caution to the wind and the pieces of Krl's eye glasses in the glove box! We arrived in Lubbock with sufficient time to eat lunch and yet be fashionably early to the party! (You got to get the jump on the other grandparents!). It was an enjoyable time! Homemade ice cream and an assortment of cake combinations. Several kids to help Reid figure out this gift opening thing, and lots of family and good friends to join in the celebration! By the way, Meme and Dandy gave Reid an authentic Radio Flyer Red Wagon!

We made a day of it. We went and looked at some equipment that is going on my next contract, made a few suggestions, met with a potential employee and looked at possibly upgrading my travel trailer! Yea! The trailer we looked at had a washer and dryer! I got to figuring how much savings I would have by not going to the Laundromat and at fifteen dollars a week it would take a really long time for this trailer to pay for itself! We may need some divine guidance on this! I am excited about the possibility! The heater has not worked in my trailer for about six or seven years. Thank Walmart for ceramic forced air heaters.

One of the highlights of the day was Aimee Harris and her family attended Reid's party. As many of you know Aimee had been diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia and her prognosis was not good. They gave her a round of HTG treatments in hopes her body would start producing blood cells again and we have anxiously waited for two months to find out if it is working. She has endured numerous platelet transfusions and has had a lot on her plate for a four year old. We got word that her body has indeed responded to the treatments! Thank YOU GOD! She may have to have some more platelets until her body comes totally up to speed but they felt so good that they removed her shunts! What a wonderful day! She is getting ready to celebrate her fifth birthday. She will find out Monday if she can attend public school or if she has to be home schooled this year due immune system concerns!

FATHER thank YOU for a really good day! Thank YOU for the safe travel! I ask that YOU bless Reid with many more happy birthdays! FATHER thank YOU for blessing Aimee, for her good reports. I ask that YOU continue to bless her with YOUR miracle of healing! I ask that YOU bless Rene', Carol, and Michelle with YOUR miracle of healing as well. I am in awe of YOUR majesty! Thank YOU FATHER!
