Bitter Sweet.

Happy 32nd Kelsi!  Hope it is a good one.

Today also marks 7 years since Terri left us.  I suppose if I miss anything about her it would be that laugh.  She loved life.  Maybe a little unorthodox, but no doubt her kids know they were and are loved.

I don't think I will ever forget that phone call from Pat.  Seven years and I can still hear it today.

Today marks about six weeks of remembrance, May 16 to June 25.  It is never an easy stretch.

For you movie goers, The Fault in Our Stars is a movie I believe is well worth your time.  Be advised, for many it is a tear jerker.

I drove to Lubbock late yesterday to watch Reid's All Star game.  The lost in the bottom of the sixth inning 14-13, but it was a good game.  Reid did well.  He had a couple of good hits and pitched in relief.  He can chunk that ball!

I made a new friend in Lubbock, more on that later.

We began replanting Wastella yesterday.  Slats had a good run and did about 120 acres before he quit last evening.  I keep looking and while the stand of cotton looks good from the road, once you get a hundred yards into the field it disappears.  I told Slats, I was not even going to look again.  Plant it all.

I am preparing to go to FSA to certify our planting.  I believe I have gathered everything Craig has asked for.  My appointment is at 1.

Freeman-Stevens reunion this weekend.  Pat has done all the leg work.  I know she will be happy when it is over, so will I.  I find myself not in the reunion spirit.  As per usual, my job is running the auction.

This may be my last year.

Have a day!
gotta run.

FATHER, YOU are in control!
