Would like to ask all of you blog readers to include DMS's Dad in your prayers. He had been at DMS's home this weekend celebrating MMMarth's 96th birthday and was on his way home Sunday and began experiencing chest pains near Brownwood. They kept him over night for observation at Brownwood Regional.

I spent part of my Sunday composing two more letters. One to my friend in federal custody, the other to the TDCJ Parole Division on behalf of another friend. it seems as though I spent my whole weekend writing letters.

One friend told me I must like to write. I told her not really, but I would promise to write her if and when she is incarcerated. She told me after she sent me that message she began thinking that the recipients probably appreciate the contact. I can hope. I am thankful I am on the outside looking in , but if the situation were reversed I would sure appreciate someone writing me!

I am so excited! The first cold front of the season! It should arrive here tomorrow afternoon! While we are predicted to be 102 today, behind the front we should drop at least 10 degrees! Thank YOU LORD! Also a chance for rain!
