Congratulations Roscoe Plowgirls!

They won their State semi-final game yesterday in Austin and will play Saturday morning for the Championship against Sudan. Go purple!

I heard from the seasonal jobsite yesterday.

I am very frustrated with the entire process. They want you to jump through hoops and then in the end it doesn't matter what you propose.

They offered a contract for the bales. They want changes in the proposal, a paragraph deleted here a paragraph there.

They intend to take control of the dispatch of the seed trucks. Which would take a load off me and would lighten up the number of employees I have to carry at the seasonal jobsite.

Actually the new proposal would make my life a breeze.

The thing that bothers me is how they prefaced their response. "In order to be fair" to you and to Greg we are going to leave the burrs with Greg and the bales with you.

To be fair? I am the only one losing anything in this deal.

I probably wouldn't have a problem with it if they hadn't used that phrase.

I am really getting the feeling the GM is not above board.

When we talked yesterday, I told him like my proposal said, "This proposal is submitted in its entirety not to be parted or separated".

Duh!

I told them I would think about it.

We have another issue going on, apparently involving Ollie. Krl noticed some charges on her bank statement and called our banker. Some purchases were made and paid electronically using Krl's routing and account number. The bank has reversed the charges and is back tracking the IP address. This is very serious, because it involves a Federal entity (a National Bank), and would involved internet fraud. Our banker asked if we wanted her to pursue it and we said yes. She said the minimum penalty is ten years in prison.

The entire thing makes me ill.

I am going in late to the parts store today. I owe Chris five hours from Tuesday so I told him I would get even today.

This afternoon I will probably try to put the jobsite freezer in the garage. I might make a quick trip to Lamesa and then to Lubbock Saturday. If I do I am bring home the "bacon".

Have a day!

FATHER, I could use a little help here. I find myself becoming mired.
