It seems that my whole world is compressed into today and tomorrow. So much to do and so little time to do it.

My yesterday was productive. I spent most of it in meetings, arranging for TxDOT authority, form E, and such. About noon I went in and paid the 2290's on a couple of trucks so they can be registered. I filed a response to my nemesis. Four typed pages, sent certified mail. I stopped just short of telling him to meet me in the parking lot behind his work, but surprise could be part of the plan. I made a late run to Roscoe. I had been needing a number from Pepa's forklift engine so I can get him a new starter. It took some doing, but I think I found what I needed. I left Abilene at 5:40, and got home a quarter to eight.

Memama fell yesterday. Pepa said she looked like a broom stick falling backwards. Luckily she didn't hit anything but carpet and got right up. When Pat arrived, Memama's blood pressure was 80 over 40. By the end of the day she was better, but she has an appointment today with Dr. Tindol's PA. Pat is going to make that trip with her. I asked Memama if she did a trick and she told me she sure did!

Recently Ollie's beau got in some trouble. He had been released on parole and he was caught in an establishment prohibited by the terms of his release. They had revoked his parole earlier, but he had a lawyer try to get them to reinstate it. Yesterday, the authorities ruled that his parole had been revoked and he must serve out the remainder of his sentence.

This past summer, Ollie's beau and I had a conversation while we were at the lake. I told him to be so smart, he sure was dumb. He responded that it didn't bother him to be incarcerated. I guess we will see if that is the case. It is really a shame. He is a very bright, very likable young man who is a slave to his vices.

I had a lady inquire about the where bouts and status of that other female who lived with us as a small child. The person asking was very sad and appalled with some of the choices this child had made. We have been receiving mail for this child using our address. That worries me, what kind of racket is she running now?

About now, the first big truck should be hitting the road headed West with the supply trailer. At ten, the second big truck is supposed to be at my house to get the big travel trailer. Between one and two the other truck should be in Midland picking up forklifts, and if all goes well, by nightfall, all the big pieces will be in place at the jobsite.

Krl and I had a late night loading the trailer. Both of us are so blah, that we could care less what goes in and what doesn't. I will drive back in tonight, then tomorrow we will drive out for the fall festival prep day, and then we will drive back in Sunday after the festival. Of course Krl has to get her hair cut prior to.

Lots to do. Maybe I could have a few exra hours thrown in to today!

Have a day!

FATHER, thank YOU for good days. I lift up Memama to YOU for your gifts of healing and care. Watch over and keep her. Be with all of our family today as many of us are traveling. I am thankful for the blessing YOU continue to bestow. Praise be to YOUR name!
