Oh what a day.

Yesterday was my Monday. For over a year a company had been trying to set up an appointment to meet with me. This was a referral from Chris. If Krl and I would sit through the presentation, Chris would receive a hundred dollars and we would receive a hundred dollars. This appointment had been set up numerous times, only to be cancelled by the company. Last time I talked with them, I was in Bishop, Texas at the jobsite.

We had a nine o'clock appointment. I was assured that the presentation would take fifteen to thirty minutes. At nine thirty-five I called the company to confirm our appointment because the rep hadn't showed up. I was getting ready to leave the house to do some work when the sales representative finally showed up. I told him I was not very tolerant of someone who did not take others in to consideration. He laughed and assured me he would make up for his being tardy. Long story short, six and a half hours later he left. I do not think the man knows how close he came to losing a sale and how close he came to getting tossed on his ear! Krl was livid. I was standing over the man, telling him either we finish quickly or the deal was off. Worst part was, we had to plumb phone lines for this man's machinery, her ran out of ink cartridge, and we ended up having to use our office equipment to do his job.

Not very professional.

When he finally left, I began making a mad dash around town. I had deadlines to make and lots of ground to cover.

When I finally returned home Krl told me that I had received a letter from my old nemesis with the IRS. Almost two years after the fact this man seems to have decided he wants to take me to task again, regardless of what his superiors determined. I responded with a a four page letter. What peeved me most was that he sent me a letter I received October 1 giving me to October 3 to respond. I had talked with a tax attorney recently and he said what this agent is doing is illegal and unethical. I simply call it double jeopardy.

This morning I have two meetings to attend. Both are related to the fall work. After that we have to get busy loading the big trailer. It has to go tomorrow. Fall festival is this weekend.

Hope your week is going well!

Have a day!

FATHER, a little help here please!
