Wow! That was a very long but very productive day. Lots of miles.

I left my house this morning at ten 'til five. I went to the storage facility and coded in and checked out the big truck and travel trailer, started it, built air (for the brake system) coded out and I was on the road. I was meeting Goose at Roscoe and he was going to drive the big rig out and I was going to drive my pickup with one of the bumper pull trailers. Five to seven and Goose pulled up. My Mom had gotten up and had breakfast going for both of us. It was a good start to the day! We paced ourselves and the trip out was uneventful.

Goose was tremendous! We both crawled under and over both trailers setting them up. He takes instruction really well. I guess this was kind of a payback for lots of the work I have helped him with before! You could also tell it was educational for him learn about setting up the trailers and the advantages one has over the other. He got to drive the little Freightliner truck and seemed to be very impressed. It's old, it's ugly, but it sure runs good! Kind of like me!

I got back just in time tonight to take a bath and change clothes before going to the "prep" night for Oasis. It went really well. This was just the second time I have worked with this supervisor and she is good. In fact I think she is the head of the Oasis meal program. I like the way she thinks. Spaghetti and meatballs in tomato sauce, breadsticks, salad and sliced fruit for desert.

Meal prep is supposed to begin tomorrow at four. I don't think I am going to St. Lawrence tomorrow. One more trailer to move and set up. Employees start coming in Friday.

We had a milestone at the house today. Krl's driver's license expired in May. She had not been to renew them. She had not driven! Bobbie, our house cleaner and Krl's friend, took Krl to the DPS office and to the Doctor's office. She has meds! Thank goodness. I am convinced we will wake up in the morning and her world will be right side up!

Be the real deal!
