FINALLY Friday!

Yeehaw! I finally found what I have been looking for all week long. The end of it!

I realize that this week has been pretty blase, nothing of extreme importance. Remember, you cannot script genius. One of my main purposes with this blog is to exercise the discipline to come to it every day, day after day and write of my expectations, experiences or whatever might or might not have been valued by me at the time. I do enjoy looking back at the archives and trying to see if I am moving forward or moving back from a year ago. At times I laugh and at times I am totally bumfuzzled. Regardless, one other upside is that for the ones of you who stop by regularly you are seldom disappointed. Something is usually posted.

Thursday was crazy (why not, the rest of the week has been). I was in the office all day but was covered up with lots of work that needed to be done. The biggest problem is that the "good book" (the book where all the dispatch records are written down) was in high demand. It amazes me that no one else seems to need it unless I am behind and need it. The carrot here is that I need to keep cool for three or four more weeks and then I am gone. Luckily I got into my day and when I finally took a personal call from Krl she asked me where I was. I told her work and she said why. I didn't realize that it was five. I had been so engrossed that I stayed pedal to the metal and put in nine instead of eight. I'll even up today. I got a lot done.

Tax free weekend. News reports say that Texans will save forty-seven million dollars this weekend. I wonder if they will just send me my portion of the forty-seven mil. I hate to shop.

I did go and get gasoline in my truck after I went by home, made petsmart and got dog food and dog treats. Finally I stopped at Albertson's and got bleach and ice. It goes without saying that by the time I got home it was late again.

Krl has been on a mission. She had been looking for a piece of paper. This paper had grown in importance the last few weeks as it outlined certain provisions of a transaction. There was joy in our house yesterday as the lost paper was located. Krl prepared a feast of spaghetti and we rejoiced that the long lost paper was found. YES!

Well, "Let's git 'er done!"

FATHER, it has been on YOU all week, YOU have done well and I thank YOU. Please continue on through this day. I continue to thank YOU for Krl and ask for her healing and renewal. I pray for those near and dear who are in need of YOUR gift of healing. I pray for those sad with loss. I pray for those of us struggling to follow YOUR way. I pray for our spiritual family and our leaders. I pray for the efforts being made to spread YOU. Wonderful is my redeemer, praise HIS name.
