It would appear 2004 is going to go out kicking and screaming! Nothing is going to be easy about finishing out this year!

I don't know why we can't have a few days off, everyone return to work and pick up where we left off! Instead everyone seems to have the blahs and don't cares and the quality of work is showing it. Add to this personnel problems and equipment problems and it has not been very pleasant since the Christmas break.

Yesterday was the day from H E double L, equipment wise. From broken wheels, to blown out tires, to blown heater hoses to broken lugs. We had it all! Luckily we were able to handle most of it remotely with limited help from service vehicles in route. This morning we are still feeling the effects of the breakdowns. When I took my early morning inventory guess what, I was out of trucks! Way too early in the day for this to be happening! We will muddle through!

Throw into the mix the fact that a long time employee made an unscheduled trip to his trailer house and found another employee in there who does not live there! We don't need this crapola! When asked what he was doing the intruder just bolted and said nothing! I would like to think the best but I feel his reactions spoke volumes. We don't need this in our small community!

I hate year end reporting! I hate taxes that start back up after the new year, we just finished paying them! Get a life! Get a job! And it seems that only to add insult to injury we have a payday on the final day of the year! Go figure.

O.K. I am venting. When I look at my problems and listen to the news, my problems pale by comparison. 63,000 lives lost! Unbelievable. Worst case scenario too, these countries are ill equipped to deal with a large disaster, much less one of this magnitude. Forgive me for thinking I have problems!

FATHER, instill in me the confidence that YOU will get me through this. Help me to learn what I am supposed to learn from this. FATHER I ask YOUR blessings and intervention for all those affected by the quake and tsunami. Help the relief efforts. Help the workers. Comfort all the victims. I pray for physical healing for all those who need YOUR gift of healing. I pray for spiritual renewal for R2D2 and all of us in spiritual need. YOU are great!
