I have a little jet lag this morning.

We just returned from Kirby and Andrea's wedding in Lingleville.  We left Friday and returned late yesterday.

It was a fun weekend.  The wedding venue was at Bella Vita Ranch just outside of Lingleville and it is a gorgeous, gorgeous place.

I had Memama there Friday for the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner.  We stayed at one of Memama's favorite hotels in Stephenville, the La Quinta.  We always have to wake her there, she rests so well.

As for the wedding the bride was gorgeous, the groom was handsome, and it had to be one of the best coordinated weddings I have ever seen.  It was almost like clock work.  The wedding took place outside on the bent grass with the guests seated in white chairs while the ceremony took place under an arbor on the steps of the patio of the large building.  Cocktail tables lined the perimeter, with beverages available.  Dallas Huston, the voice of the Brownwood Lions, officiated.

I would guess,  start to finish the ceremony didn't last twenty minutes.  Hors de oeuvres were served while pictures were taken.  Then things moved inside where the couple had their first dance, followed by the brides dance with her Dad and the grooms dance with his Mom.

Then the meal was served, followed by dancing and fellowship.  I will say the most dancing was done by the nieces of the groom and his cousins (who were dancing with the little girls).  It was a lot of fun.

The newly weds left in the groom's brother's Rubicon, zans the top and doors!

On our way out of town Sunday we stopped by the wedding venue and assisted in taking down chairs and stacking them along with readying rental equipment to be picked up, emptying fruit and flowers from vases, gathering table clothes and napkins and loading specialty items built specifically for the wedding..

Congratulations Kirby and Andrea!

FATHER than YOU for a good weekend with family and friends.  Thank YOU for safe travel.  YOU are good.
