Got up this morning about 6:30. I sure hate to be rushed getting bathed and ready for church. Did the 8:15 church service.

Southern Hills is doing a five week series on Holy Passion, the church and sexuality. Today was week two.

The elders say that for years the church was silent or reluctant to discuss the Biblical views on sex and that many young men and women are finding it difficult to transition into a marriage relationship. Its kind of like, it has been taboo and then all the sudden it is o.k..

The two Sundays so far have pretty much prefaced the subject. They say next week they will cover sex and single and same sex attraction.

Phil told a joke this morning, that there was a preacher who was going to let the congregation help teach the lesson. The preacher would say a word and the congregation was supposed to burst into a song related to the word command.

The preacher said "cross", and the congregation began singing The Old Rugged Cross. The preacher said "grace", and the congregation began singing Amazing Grace. The preacher said "power" and the congregation began singing "There is Power in the Blood". The preacher said "sex" and the church was silent. Finally, way in the back an 87 year old woman began singing "Precious Memories"!

Phil told his small group the joke earlier in the week and their response was "Oh Why Not Tonight?"

A little church sex humor. Well, I thought it was funny.

Outside of church, I didn't do a whole lot. I came home and cooked breakfast and waited for Carol to wake up. The afternoon was spent catching up on correspondence while watching NASCAR.

I tell you, my man Jeff Gordon can't buy a break. However his driver for the team he owns, Jimmy Johnson, is making a move to win his six championship in a row!

Jason texted me last night and told me it had rained four and a half inches at the barn and it was still raining.

Now decisions are going to have to be made. Two of Memama's farms have not been plowed, nor has either field of Jason's. I am thinking we may do a flip. What has been plowed prior to the rain may get sprayed and what was sprayed may get plowed.

I may bounce some ideas off Hag.

My plan for tomorrow is to go to the farm tomorrow and finish up the tire mounting on the second forklift and if things go well I will pull the two secondary cylinders to take them to the shop.

I had not walked Friday, due to my "concrete" feet, and I didn't walk Saturday because of the rain. But, the houndgirls and I walked tonight.

I wish I could get as excited about walking as they get.

It sure was humid tonight!

We did fajitas for supper. It was a kit from Sam's. Not bad, but I limited myself to one tortilla. The meat and peppers and onions aren't that bad for dieting. 7o calories per serving, and we didn't do the sour cream or guacamole. No chips, no refried beans, no mexican rice.

I am beginning to think I can really feel a difference since I began the dieting and walking. (At least I have to tell myself that).

About the only drawback I have found is my restless leg syndrome kind of goes crazy and my legs are pretty "dead".

Pat and Memama finished their road trip yesterday. They had spent the last night at the La Quinta in Stephenville. This is the same motel we stayed at when we went to Larissa's graduation. Without a doubt they have the most comfortable beds I have ever experienced at a motel. Pat said she woke Memama up at 10:54 because checkout was at 11:00. I'll debrief them tomorrow.

Hope you had a good weekend!

FATHER, thank YOU for the save trip for Memama and Pat. Thank YOU for YOUR rain blessing. YOU are good.
