I am doing a little laundry. Trying to get everything Carol might need within easy reach from her wheelchair, while packing my bag.

I am driving to Roscoe, switching to Memama's car, stopping to feed farm animals and pick up Rian's chain saw, driving to Snyder to pick up Memama from Thornhills (she and Pat are getting haircuts).

Then, Memama and I are heading North. Destination, Shallowater, Texas!

For the last three months I have promised Memama I would take her to Rian's. We finally just picked a date and today is it. We are driving up, will eat lunch in Lubbock, and finish the drive afterward. We are spending the night tonight and returning tomorrow.

This will be Memama's first visit to Rian's since they moved to Shallowater May 1. (It is also her first trip to Rian and Erica's since we lost Pepa.

I'm trying to decide whether to take Memama to her and Pepa's favorite eating establishment, or try something different.

When I have the time to upload it, I will post a picture of Pepa and Memama's headstone. The monument company delivered it yesterday. Looks good. After lots of changes and compromises I am very pleased.

Hag met the man at the cemetery lot and I arrived just as they were completing setting the stone. Afterwards Hag and I met for lunch at Big Boys and had a really good visit. Thanks for the lunch Hag!
