Friday at Pepa's house. Saturday at the farm shop working on trucks. Sunday a combination of working on billing and settlements and going to look over a truck, then to the truck stop to set some stuff up. Monday, back to the farm shop to work on trucks.
Piddly work wears me out.
The majority of my day yesterday was spent replacing an I-bolt and attaching a spring on Pepa's big truck. Got it all on and the hood would not close. After another two hours I had finally achieved my goal. The thing that makes this difficult is these springs are designed to assist in tilting the big hood, and also to help keep it from crashing when you close it.
I would love to meet those engineers.
I had not mentioned it as details are sketchy, but the oldest granddaughter had a car wreck Thursday night. A single vehicle accident while talking on her cell phone, late, late at night. Broken jaw, several teeth broken out, a ruptured ear drum, a fractured elbow and a fractured hand. They did surgery yesterday to set her jaw and to repair her ear drum.
Poor choices.
Rian completed all his revamping on the pulling equipment last night. I can tell he is so excited. I sure hope when he and Jason and Devon and the crew hit the track they can see some improvement! I can't see where what they have done will do anything but help!
The season begins a week from Friday!
I am trying to figure out how to deal with two truck drivers who don't think rationally, who constantly screw up costing money! It would be possible that less is more.
Hopefully, it will all work out.
Have a day!
FATHER, a little help here!
