I miss Santa visiting our house, but I am excited for the grandsons. Oh, to be so young and innocent again.

To be totally honest. I understand the tie of Christ and Christmas. However, the tie between Santa Claus and Christmas is a little cloudy to me. I know that gifts were brought to the newborn King. Is this where the gifting concept began?

When did Christmas become commercial?

I can remember when Christmas displays didn't go up until Thanksgiving, now you see them before the Halloween costumes are stowed away.

Black Friday? Where did that come from?
