Quarterly reports are history!

Yippee!

I printed all my pertinent information yesterday morning, then began the process of transferring it either into an e-file or into a form I could print.

Thankfully, I had no problem getting into the workforce website. Last time it wanted a password change but I was not on my computer with the e-mail address they had on file. They kept telling me I wasn't me.

We actually had to pay a late penalty for that because I never got into their system until I got back to the home office.

The TWC reporting yesterday went smooth as silk.

The 941 was almost as good. There was a four cent shortage on our tax deposits throughout the quarter. Krl just shook her head as she wrote a check for .04 and then put a .44 cent stamp on the envelope to mail it.

Oh well, that is better than having to pay a substantial amount and penalty and interest on that amount. I attributed the four cents to "rounding".

Thankfully, the trucks seem to have come full circle. It was about time.

I read in a church bulletin that Tyler, the young man I had written about last week, came out of his coma and they did surgery to put the piece of his skull back (that doctors had removed to allow his brain to swell). I have no information as to damage or prognosis.

I talked briefly with Pepa Friday. He said, "Oh, did we get a rain!" He said it rained long and hard.

I watched a home make-over yesterday. There was a man, probably in his thirties, single and living alone. He enjoyed a laid back life, working and only having to worry about taking care of himself. He received a phone call, informing him that his sister, and mother of two, had died. Immediately he took in his niece and nephew, jumping into the world of parent and provider. Of course his house was too small and not even remotely suited for raising two children. The crews came in and demolished the old home and built a new two story in its place.

The man was very humble and taken back by being chosen as a make-over recipient. He said, "I only did the right thing".

I liked what they said in the program. They told this man, "You are a hero. You stepped up when you could have stepped away".

I like that. It is all about direction. The step is easy.

Right now, I think I am going to go get a brief nap before morning!

Have a day!

FATHER, thank YOU. For the productive day. For the good report on Tyler. I continue to ask YOUR gifts of healing and care for him and for the kid's step Dad. I continue to ask YOUR guidance as Krl and I transition to what YOU have planned for us next.
