First matter of business today, we need to send some birthday wishes.

August is filled with family birthdays, Steph, Dakota, Reid, Avery, Pat, Kyle, Linda, and Rian. I hope I'm not missing someone, but it was not intentional if that happened.

This past weekend Memama had Sunday lunch and had birthday cake celebrating four birthdays. Dakota Rain turned one. Pat had another one, Kyle turned 23 and Linda had another one.

Happy Birthday all!

I had lunch with Jason yesterday and he showed me a picture of Dakota in her new pink pedal car. It was soo cute! She had a big smile and was posing for the camera. I began calling her car her "pink Cadillac". Of course every girl needs their own pink Cadillac convertible!

Jason stopped by the parts store yesterday and Dakota and her Mom saw him and wheeled in, so we got to see Dakota briefly. She was needing a nap when they were by. She wasn't a happy camper.

Business at the parts store seems to be steady, but there aren't many big ticket items. Everything is nickel and dime.

Krl has her trucks off to their best start in several weeks. Oh there are some glitches, but overall it is much better than it has been.

When I returned to Abilene last evening I made four stops running errands. That made it almost seven by the time I got home. Needless to say I was a tired puppy. I ended up going to sleep in my chair. I moved to the bedroom about 10:45. When my eyes popped open this morning my body wanted to argue with them.

Oh well. For a long time I have contended that my days are only 16 hours long but I have ten of them in a week. At least that is what my internal clock tries to tell me.

Have a great day!

FATHER, thank YOU for a good day yesterday. I lift up Lrn to you for your gifts of healing. Bless me oh LORD, and expand my boundaries.
