Brave new world.

A world of numbers and parts and pieces, clouded by grit and grime, spiced with the profane and profanity.

You have entered,
the parts business!

Hey, hey, I am at the parts store. I came in yesterday and the plan is for me to do the Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, deal. So we will give it a whirl!

Krl and I are prepared for the next cold spell. Our little "wood" man arrive Monday night with a new cord of wood. Fodder for the fireplace!

Monday I did the Abilene/STL circle, and I met Rian and Holt there. Holt was glad to see his Dandy. He is such a little talker. He never meets a stranger. He was extremely proud of his new stock trailer (that his Dad had borrowed) and even more proud that his Dad had pulled it from Lubbock to there. He was up on the task at hand, telling me that they were going to pick up a pig in their trailer and shoot it in the head with bullets and then eat it!

I told Rian that was too much information for a three year old!

Holt wanted to ride with Dandy when we left the bank in Garden City, so Rian and I just hopped in different vehicles. I drove his hauling the pigs, and he drove mine with the travel trailer!

We stopped for lunch at Furrs, had a good visit and said our good-byes. Holt even wanted to ride with Dandy then! I thought about taking him to Abilene for a few days!

Rian was racing to Post to drop the pigs. (The pig turned into a better deal for two. A red one and a white one). Rian said when he unloaded the pigs at the processing plant, Holt protested, wanting to take his pigs to his house!

It had been funny, because Paul, the gentleman we bought the pigs from, opened the escape door to show us the pigs, Holt walked up just about the time one of the pigs stuck his nose around the corners and gave a big old snort! That really got Holt moving! Finally when the pigs were secure in the trailer, we got pictures of Holt standing on one side of the gate with the pigs on the other!

Monday night, I had self inflicted some internet problems I had to fix. I had put our wireless router back in play, and as per usual lost our connectivity. I finally got it fixed last evening!

So we are back on line!

Have a day!

FATHER, thank YOU for the safe travel, for time spent with Rian and Holt. Bless-ed be YOUR name!
