Three things down! Several yet to go!
Equipment project show. Check!
Tool sale. Check!
Sleep study. Check!
I have worked a tool sale and lived to tell about it. Overall we would have to term the tool sale a success. We sold about as many tools as we thought we might, but not as many as we hoped for. It is a lot of work!
My yesterday had begun very early because of tool sale. I was scheduled to pick up doughnuts in Sweetwater. I had service my little pickup Monday evening because I knew I would be leaving in the dark Tuesday. When I left the house I thought, "Man, this thing just doesn't sound like it should". As I waited for a traffic light I ran the gages. Water temperature was very low, oil pressure O.K., amp meter O.K.. I hit the freeway and headed out. Almost immediately the water temp began sweeping upward. I stopped and checked the water again, full. I made an assessment to return home and get another vehicle. I circled under and headed back, the water temp began coming down, the truck continued to run rougher and rougher. Finally I was looking for a place to park it when it quit. I coasted into a parking lot and began calling Krl. She picked up the third time and got her Expedition and came to rescue me. I was late to the tool sale by about a half hour. Worked there all day before leaving to retrieve my deceased truck, spent just a few minutes with Krl before leaving to check in at the sleep disorder clinic. I checked in at eight. They termed me lights out at ten-thirty. By one-thirty I was done. I watched television and read the remainder of the night until they released me at five something. No sleep apnea.
This morning I take Krl for an MRI. They are trying to determine what the cause of her headaches might be.
Then I will probably return to the remaining carnage of the parts store. At some point I have to bury my little truck. Tomorrow I have to be at the jobsite by eight in the morning to meet with the board of directors. That means I have to be on the road by five Thursday morning.
Yuk!
But I'm getting a handle on it!
Rian's surgery went well, however he had some complications and had to spend the night Monday in the hospital. I talked to him just before I went to the sleep disorder clinic and he was still in his hospital room. His doctor had not been by in almost thirty six hours. I bet that doctor gets a lecture.
Have a day!
FATHER, thank YOU for keeping me on task. See me through!
